We need an experienced Yearbook Team Member to help stabilize our growth.
We'll explain the position in plain-english rather than dressing it up to sound nice and pretty :
) This is blended work location position.
The majority of your time will be spent at our office in Queen Creek, AZ.
You may also be required to visit schools to assist them.
Your hours will mimic those of a school day, typically 7am-4pm.
You are on call and expected to be available to meet with clients when they require.
Most schools will either have a Yearbook Class or Club.
Sometimes these classes and clubs meet before school, after school, or during school hours.
Each and every client is different.
You will have some flexibility to schedule your appointments.
A combination of ZOOM or Phone Calls should be expected.
We have schools all over the state of Arizona.
You may be required to travel, including overnights.
Most schools can be visited without spending the night, but there are many that you will be required to spend the night in a hotel to service.
The company will provide a company vehicle, and will pay for all travel expenses.
This is NOT a sales job.
This is a customer service / administrative position.
You are there to assist each school yearbook adviser and their students to create their yearbook.
You will be responsible for between 100-200 schools.
Your main goal is to be the liasion between the United Portraits backend yearbook team and each school yearbook adviser.
You need to be someone who works well under organized chaos, because we have a lot of moving parts that you would be helping with.
Your ability to stay extremely organized while multitasking is key to your success.
We have some tools to help your job, but you:
- You will mostly work on the road, or in our office, but have constant phone and text communication with our front line staff, account managers, and our production teams.
- You will have communication with several schools, the Yearbook Team, and their Account Managers on a daily basis.
- You will work closely with your Yearbook team, to organize the day ahead.
This will mean both inbound and outbound calling to verify or clarify items.
- You will visit schools that are Yearbook Clients to ensure the entire process goes smoothly, answer necessary questions, and clarify specifics when needed.
- You will assist with Yearbook pages and photos when necessary.

- You will be required to spend extra time during the months of March - May to ensure all deadlines are met.
- You will create your own route everyday.
Each and everyday will be different, as you will coordinate between the yearbook advisers to make sure you are there during when their yearbook class or club meets.
It could be before, after, or during the school day.
You'll want to plan to meet with multiple schools a day.
- You may be asked to help load items and move boxes when organizing yearbook deliveries, boxes may be up to 50 lbs.
- You will work in a small business.
You won't be in a beautiful building, but you will have a sense of belonging, and have a lot of fun on a daily basis.
- You will have an awesome attitude, and like working with kids grades 5-12.
- You will be required to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Card and have no offenses against children.
- You LOVE to meet new people and see different faces everyday.
You'll develop great relationships with the yearbook advisers.
What a day in the life would look like:
- Coordinate with at least 20 different schools each day.
- Communicate with the Backend Yearbook Team on a daily basis regarding the status of each account.
- Help remedy anything that is missing from the yearbook workflow.
- Load boxes and deliver to respective offices when necessary (marketing materials, final yearbooks, etc.
) - Always be cheery and ready to help your Yearbook Team, Account Management Team, and our clients.
- Be available to pick up incoming calls 100% of the time.
- Be available for in-person tutorials, inquiries, and concerns for our Yearbook Clients.
